I'm still in love with the "Eastern Beauty" Stamp Set, "Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper"

and the "Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies" !!

The "Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers" and "Mini Tassels" are pretty cool too  : )

 

 Check out this recent class project which is a fun fold (Bridge Card).

Color Scheme:  Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist and Vanilla

Both sentiments come from the Hostess Set "Background Bits".

This is a view from the top looking down on the 3-D card.

It really is a fairly simple fun fold to make.

Hardwood Background Stamp + Eastern Medallion Thinlit = Sunflower

I saw a similar idea to this on Pinterest so I just had to CASE it!

Of course, the fun comes in "tweaking" projects you come across, so I did 

just that-- and switched the brown center, the leaves and the colors a bit  :)

Here is my color combo:

Chocolate Chip, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry & White

I used the "Dragonfly Dreams" Stamp Set for the sentiment & the dots on the leaves.

Of course the "Hardwood" Stamp was used for the background as already mentioned.

The 2 leaves were made from the smallest Layering Ovals Framelits.

I cut them out, stamped the dots & then scored them in the middle to fold for added depth.

Both the white and green layers for the stem were cut free hand (yes, I'm that good!) haha

The Eastern Medallion Thinlits were used for the sunflower along with a Circle Framelit Die.

The Softly Falling Embossing Folder made the dots in the brown circle.

I used some Linen Thread (doubled) to finish off this card.  I hope you enjoy it.

Brand New-- Beautiful Bouquet by StampinUP & Basket Swap Part 1

This was my card today.  (I added a couple retired jewels after the fact).

On todays' card I used the "Oh My Stars' Embossing Folder.

The stamped images come from "Eastern Beauty".

The "Eastern Palace Specialty" Designer Series Paper was used along with the 

1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon in Lemon Lime Twist

I'm really liking the featured new In Color shown today!!

At first, I was unsure.... but the more I use the Lemon Lime Twist the more I want to.

This was one of the projects we made the other day at my New Catalog Launch & Open House!

One Sheet Wonder with Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper- (Part 2)

THIS IS PART 2 OF MY "ONE SHEET WONDER" VIDEO PROJECTS 

(PART 1 WITH 5 CARDS AND THE VIDEO WAS POSTED YESTERDAY)  

BELOW I HAVE THE PATTERN THAT YOU CAN USE TO CUT A 12 X 12 SHEET OF DESIGNER SERIES PAPER INTO PCS. THAT WILL BE USED TO MAKE 10 CARDS.

IF YOU CAN'T SEE THE DIMENSIONS ON THE CARDBOARD BELOW, HERE THEY ARE:

-- FIRST CUT YOUR PAPER INTO 3 SECTIONS

-- THE SECTION ON THE LEFT IS 4 INCHES BY 12

-- THE MIDDLE SECTION IS 5 1/4 IN. BY 12

-- THE SMALLER SECTION ON THE RIGHT IS 2 3/4 IN. BY 12

THEN YOU SHOULD CUT YOUR PAPER INTO PCS. LIKE THIS:

-- LEFT SECTION WILL BE 4 X 5 1/8 (THEN CUT AT DIAGONAL) CARDS 1 & 2

AND PC. 4 X 4 7/8 CARD 3 AND THEN SMALL PC. IS 4 X 2 CARD 4

-- MIDDLE SECTION WILL BE 5 1/4 X 4 1/8 CARD 5

AND THEN 2 PCS. WILL BE 5 1/4 X 2 1/16 CARDS 6 & 7

BOTTOM IS 5 1/4 X 3 3/4 CARD 8

-- RIGHT SECTION IS CUT 2 3/4 X 5 1/4 CARD 9

AND THEN THE REMAINDER IS CUT INTO 3 EQUAL PCS.

AT 2 3/4 X 2 1/4 ALL 3 USED ON CARD 10

If you have any questions at all about how I did this, please just ask.

I used the Vanilla Lace Trim which is returning in the new annual catalog.

I used the Stitched Framelits on this card & yes they are returning as well.

This card has a total of 6 little border pcs. along the sides.

I used the same die that you see in the middle of this card & just cut off tiny parts.

I used a strip of Dapper Denim card stock here for a torn edge under the dotted paper.

Those 3 pcs. of designer paper cut the same size were used on card 10.

I just stamped an image from the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set on the paper & cut out with a die.

Here are all 10 of my card creations made from one sheet of 12 x 12 paper!

No pcs. left over at all to worry about or throw away  :)

StampinUP Designer Series Paper is awesome because its double-sided.

I was able to use both sides on these cards for a fabulous variety and different looks.

I hope you are as excited as I am about this brand new stamp set, paper, and dies by StampinUP! You too can get these fabulous new items on May 1st without having to wait for the June 1st Catalog Launch!!
