Get in a "Tropical" mood looking at this card (made with Tropical Chic by StampinUP)

This card was made back in October at my Luau Party I had!!

(just realized I did not post it at the time-- oops)

Anyway, the color combo includes:

Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Early Espresso

The flower was fussy cut and easy to handle.

Across the bottom it was a little tricky to stamp 3 of those

striped images all lined up in a row.  The rest of the card was a pc. of cake!!

Of course I used the Tropical Chic stamp set from pg. 93

in the Annual Catalog.  That was pretty much it as far as SU products.
(except 4 colors of ink)

In closing.......remember Sale-A-Bration ends March 31st (tomorrow)!!
If there are any of the FREE products you are still wanting, please
let me know and we can get your order placed by the deadline.

THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY......LORI

Tropical Chic Stamp Set & Tropical Dies from StampinUP make a very TROPICAL Card!!

On page 93 in the current Annual Catalog you will find

the featured stamp set-- Tropical Chic.

I was very happy that the set and dies were both carried

over to the new book!!

This card was designed by Chris U. and made by me

at a recent Basket/Shoebox Swap in Peoria, IL.

I like to see anything "tropical" right now because it

continues to motivate me to keep plugging away to earn the

Stampin'UP Incentive trip to Maui !!

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT

OF MY STAMPING BUSINESS!!  I'VE GOT THIS!!

Tropical Chic and StampinUP Gathering near Madison, WI was a great Leadership Event!!

This was on display at the event.  Artist unknown

.

I love the bright colors with the Tropical Chic stamp set.

Very cool masculine card on display. Artist unknown.

The 2 patriotic pictures from above were taken at a fund raiser event to help the Honor Flight Program.  Does anyone remember that flag stamped image on this card?  (I think I still have one but not sure).  Anyway, "yours truly" was responsible for using the blue and red markers on this image.  Yes, I know-- kind of tedious!!

Kelly Acheson was one of the speakers and she took a selfie.

These photos do not capture Friday and Sat. at all, but we had fun, talked & talked, and of course learned a lot from Shannon West and Cori Hancock of the home office.  If you have any questions about my weekend trip up north or any of these pics, please just let me know!!  Thanks-- Lori

Progress towards Maui Goal.....& a fitting card using Tropical Chic Stamp Set

Some of you have asked me how I'm coming with my quest to earn the SU incentive trip to Maui.....
Well, the end of March will be the 1/2 way point for the earning period (for trip). I am about 1/3 of the way to my end goal. No worries though.....I just keep plugging along and working hard at my business. Whatever happens-happens! and I know in my heart that I've tried the hardest this year than I ever have before in my almost 20 years with StampinUP!! Thank you SO much everyone for your help and cheering me on......."I think I can, I think I can"......

Dreaming of this tropical paradise on StampinUP's dime (smile)

This was a very fun project at a recent class.

I think the gals liked the color combo and use

of the Tropical Chic set and matching Big Shot Dies.

If you have any questions about this card, please contact me.

I appreciate you blogging by.....Lori

Tropical Chic Stamp Set & Tropical Thinlits Dies by StampinUP

If you look on pg. 120 in the Annual Catalog,

you will find my inspiration for this card.....

I switched up the ribbon & designer paper with a

couple other changes and there you have it!!

Never forget the StampinUP catalogs are a great source

when you want a card design to CASE   : )

I used the same Tropical Escape Suite on this card.

This is a "Lori Original" and I did a little something different

with black twine at the bottom.

I used black and green markers for the sentiment.

If you have any questions about either card project,

please ask.  As always, if there are any StampinUP products

you would like to order you can shop my on-line store

anytime at your convenience.

Place an order with me, plus leave your contact information,

and I will send you a "happy dance" video selfie.....

haha- now that would be quite a sight to see!!

Thanks for your visit- Lori
