Shaded Summer Stamp Set (StampinUP) Shown on 2 Card Samples Today!

On this card, I used 3 of the retiring In Colors  (Magenta Madness, Just Jade and Bumblebee).  The stamps came from Shaded Summer (pg. 75 in the current Annual Catalog).  I really like this stamp set w/ the great sentiments, so I'm happy it carried over into the new catalog.  AND come May 3rd, we can also get the Summer Shadows Dies to go along with the set--YAY!!

Yes, I did "fussy cut" these flowers!!  Like I mentioned, I won't have to do this too much longer because I will be ordering the Summer Shadows Dies when the new catalog starts in May  : )

Thank you for blogging by.  I hope your Easter weekend was spent with family and friends.  Until the next time, Happy Stamping everyone!!  LORI

Todays' Cards Feature Symbols of Fortune Designer Paper w/ Shaded Summer Stamp Set

Hello stampers!  Welcome to my blog, and thank you for stopping by.

The color palette for the above card includes:

Soft Succulent, Calypso Coral, White, Crumb Cake

I used the following StampinUP products:

--Shaded Summer Stamp Set

--Symbols of Fortune Designer Paper

--Brushed Brass Butterflies

--2 Colors StampinWrite Markers

For this creation, I used the same gorgeous paper and stamp set.  The Layering Circle Dies and Penned Flowers Dies were used.  I fussy cut the banner for the sentiment and added some Soft Succulent Ribbon underneath.  Stampin'Write Markers were used again on the flower image.

If you have any questions, please let me know.  Hopefully you've been using your own stamping supplies to create cards from the heart.  Once you make them, be sure to send them out to friends and family!!  Who would not enjoy getting special "snail mail"?

Symbols of Fortune 12 x 12 Designer Paper (StampinUP) Used on 3 Cards Here......

Color Combo for this card sample includes:  Soft Succulent, Calypso Coral, White, Gold

The following StampinUP Products were used:

--Bark 3D Embossing Folder

--Shaded Summer Stamp Set

--Eden Dies

--Brushed Brass Butterflies

--Stitched So Sweetly Dies

--Symbols of Fortune Designer Paper

--Gold Foil Sheets

I used Crumb Cake, White, and Flirty Flamingo for my StampinUP colors.  Not very many products at all were used here (just Double Oval Punch and the featured designer paper).  Oh, and for the "thank you" I used the Happy & Heartfelt stamp set.

My card base here is Calypso Coral and I also used White, Soft Succulent, and Gold.  The Symbols of Fortune paper was used of course, along with these SU items:

--Shaded Summer for the thank you

--Encircled In Beauty Dies

--Eden Dies

--Brushed Brass Butterflies

Its my pleasure to share these 3 card creations with you!  I really appreciate you stopping by my blog and please check back again real soon.  Thank you for your support!!  LORI

Still Enjoying Flowers From Shaded Summer & Other StampinUP Sets.....

This pretty flower card features a rainbow of color!  I started out with a thick pc. of white for the card base.  The Pool Party pc. on the left, was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D folder.  Other StampinUP products used include:

--Rainbow Glimmer Paper

--Stitched Rectangle Dies

--Shaded Summer Stamp Set

--3 Colors of StampinWrite Markers

--White Bakers Twine

I did not make this beautiful card.  A fellow Stampin Stray Duckling did though, for a group card swap we had a few months back.  I'm sorry I don't remember who to give the credit to!  The Pansy Patch stamp set was used along with the Pansy Petals Designer Paper.

I made this very simple card for a recent class project.  The stunning Expressions In Ink Designer Paper was used.  (both the flower pc. & the 2 skinny gold striped pcs.)

The sentiment, flower, and leaves come from the Artistically Inked stamp set.  (pg. 97 in the Annual Catalog).  I used the coordinating dies also.  The above photo does not do this card justice I don't think.  Even though it's simple like I said, it really is pretty in person!!  Those 3 pcs. of designer paper just wreak with gold shimmer!!

As always, I would love to hear from you with any questions or comments.  You can always send me an email at:    stampinfool2006@yahoo.com   OR  post a comment here on my blog if you would like.  It's a pleasure to share creations with you, and always remember to STAMP HAPPY!!   LORI

I SHARE MY PASSION FOR STAMPS, INK & PAPER WITH A SPECIAL FLOCK OF LADIES CALLED THE "STRAY DUCKLINGS".  WHENEVER WE'RE TOGETHER, FEATHERS FLY BECAUSE OF ALL THE FUN WE HAVE!!

On page 75 in the current Annual Catalog, you will find the brand new stamp set called "Shaded Summer".  I used a couple Stampin' Write Markers to ink up the flower image before stamping on the white card stock.  Besides this brand new set, I used the following new Stampin'UP products:

--Scalloped Contours Dies

--Polished Pink Open Weaved Ribbon

--In Color Markers (Polished Pink & Soft Succulent)

--In Color 6 x 6 Designer Paper

This is a very simple card, but fun to duplicate with any designer paper and flower stamps that you might have on hand!!  If you have any questions, please let me know.
