Check Out Some Punch-Art.....Gotta Love Snoopy on his Doghouse!!

I totally CASED todays card, but isn't this beagle adorable?
(sorry, I can't remember who I copied Snoopy from!)

We made this card in a recent class, and I think the gals enjoyed the punch art.
For ease at class, we used retired oval punches but you could easily use oval dies.
For the Snoopys dog house, we used the "Seaside" and
"Simple Stripes' Embossing Folders.
Yes, both of these Big Shot Emboss Folders will be in the new catalog!

For the grass, we just randomly fussy cut a pc. of Wild Wasabi.
The card base is Soft Sky & then Real Red, Black & White were also used.

Both Wild Wasabi and Soft Sky from the Subtles Collection are retiring!!
Don't forget to get your card stock supplies and ink refills for those
2 colors as well as the following:

Always Artichoke, Elegant Eggplant, Island Indigo, Perfect Plum,
Rose Red, Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise,
Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder, Dapper Denim,
Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum

I appreciate you blogging by......
Now like Snoopy, its time for me to go to sleep (smile).

Singing Rudolf with Antlers made from "Jar of Love".....Say What?!

I've seen various versions of this card on-line and wanted to share mine today.
Everything is current StampinUP Product other than the little hands/hoofs!!
(I used an old flower punch for that & cut in half)
I've seen the 1/2 circle punch for this as well or any little thing you have will work!

Anyway, I used the Jar of Love Stamp Set for the black antlers.
The Merry Christmas Sentiment comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
The Layering Ovals Framelits were used (times 4).
The red rudolf nose is the 1/2 inch circle punch.

From the Holiday Catalog, I used the Merry Music Specialty
Designer Series Paper and the Quilted Christmas Ribbon.

For the "songbook", I just scored in 3 places
(middle, & each end to fold under)

Another tip.....when you do the antlers, put a scrap pc. of paper
down when stamping so the bottom of the image does not hang outside of the oval face.
You can make his antlers as full as you would like!  LOL

Color Combo for my rudolf card includes:
White, Black, Garden Green, Real Red & Sahara Sand

Stamp Set "Crazy about You" will be retiring soon.......Check Out This Card Using It

I CASED this card from Connie Babbert.
She used her ribbon & embellishment in gold and mine are silver.
Other than that, it's the same card!

I think it's really a cute idea, but I wanted to point out the word "you" at the top left side.
That word comes from the stamp set "Crazy about You" which will be retiring the end of May.
(shown in the Annual Catalog- pg. 70)

Yesterday's blog post featured the retiring lists with StampinUP if you missed that day.
Check them out, and let me know if you would like to order any of the retiring products.

Thank you very much- Lori

Candy Corn Card & Cute Treat Boxes w/ Cookie Cutter Halloween Set

I "Cased" this card from Pinterest or someones blog (not sure who to give the credit to)
Anyway, isn't this little candy corn face just adorable?
I used an oval punch, circle punches, and the "Duet Banner Punch".
For the sparkly cheeks, I used some Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper (shown on pg. 55 in the Holiday Catty)

Treat Boxes / Party Favors made by Debbie Kramer, Nancy Bowen & Darlene Anstett.
Again, the "Duet Banner Punch" was used.
The Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper can be found on pg. 51 (Holiday book)

Here is a side view of the treat boxes.
StampinUP carries these "Clear Tiny Treat Boxes" on page 176 in the Annual Catalog

The 3 Christmas projects below show a wide variety of StampinUP products.  The first card however, features "Among the Branches" Stamp Set.

I used Cherry Cobbler, White and a touch of Gold for my card.  The "Woodland Embossing Folder" was used to make the birch trees and then I used the little snowflake from the same featured set.  The gold ribbon is in the Holiday Catalog (pg. 29).

The other 2 projects are from the Sterling, IL Card Buffet.  The sleigh card was made by me and the snowman was made by Debbie or Mary.

If you have any questions about these Holiday projects, please let me know.  Thanks very much for blogging with me.......Lori

Zoo Babies & Punch Art Make Great Youthful Cards

Both cards today would serve very well for a baby and young child.  The yellow color card would be good for a baby shower or newborn.  It features the StampinUP set called "Zoo Babies".

The 2nd card features Punch Art and would make a fabulous Birthday card for a young child.  The green body pieces and parts were embossed with a retired embossing folder, but you could very easily switch that up to a current folder instead to get the textured look.

Please check below each picture for the artists' name and location.  Thank you ladies for sharing your youthful creations!!

Punch Art Pilgrims & Santa Stache

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and welcome to my blog!

Today I have a cute TG card to share that I made a LONG time ago.  I think its an "oldie but a goodie" so hopefully you will agree.  Punch art cards can be SO effective!

Also, the new Santa Stache from the Holiday Mini was used to make this adorable box.  (Its even more adorable since it was given to me by a friend & holds M & Ms!)  Thanks so much Debbie K. for sharing with me......you are a good friend, and that was very sweet of you (no pun intended).

Let me know please if you have any questions about the 2 featured projects today.  I am  very thankful for all my friends, family, and customers out there.  Have a great holiday!  Lori

Envelope Liners Framelit Dies- Snowman

Wow, its been a very busy couple of days so I have not done a post since Thursday!  (sorry about that).

3 of us Demos did a Holiday Stamping Event in Morton IL so I was getting ready for those projects.  One of the samples that I showed there was a very cute card made out of the middle size Envelope Liner Framelit Die. (that is a set of 3 & on pg 37 in the Holiday Mini)

I also decorated the white standard envelope for the Snowman Card using the same liner (middle size) and the Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Cute little guy huh?

If you have any questions about how I did this, please e-mail me at stampinfool2006@yahoo.com

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your weekend.  Lori
