Creative Fold Card and Beautiful Candy Box-- both for Christmas Inspiration!!

This was a class project a couple months ago. The Corner Pocket Fold layout is easy to make. I used the following StampinUP products on this creation:

--Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set

--Gingerbread & Peppermint 6 x 6 Paper

--Red Rhinestones

--White Crinkled Seam Binding

--Gingerbread & Peppermint Acrylic Shapes

This is a view from above. I used dimensionals under the triangle pc. of designer paper so the square white pc. of paper would fit nicely when tucked inside.

When the card is opened up and flat, it looked like this. I used Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Real Red, and White for my Color Combo.

This AWESOME 3D project was made by my demo friend Kim Baker of Hennepin, IL. She used the Scalloped Contours Dies and some Whimsy & Wonder designer paper (just to mention a few StampinUP items). Kim put candy in this cute box, and passed out at our Nov. virtual event some of us demos attended at a Peoria area hotel. We had a very fun couple of days together!!

2 Christmas Cards Featuring Designer Paper from the 2021 Holiday Catalog

This was a class project last month. The featured Designer Paper is called "Whimsy & Wonder" (pg. 25 in current Holiday Catalog). Other StampinUP Products used include:

Expressions In Ink Designer Paper used w/ Fall Leaves on a Card Project-- Say What??

This is kind of a different combination, but I really like how my card turned out. So, I used the Expressions In Ink 12 x 12 paper from the Annual Catalog. (4 different pcs. to be exact which includes decorating the envelope as well).

I used the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and the Intricate Leaves dies from pg. 47 in the Holiday Catalog. The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from Welcoming Woods (pg. 46).

What do you think of this fall Birthday card with different colors & paper? Hope you like it- and are inspired to use a little "out of the box" colors, stamps, and paper of your own.

This card was a class project a couple months back I think. I LOVE the sentiment that comes from a retired set (unfortunately) but its still a good one. The Designer Paper is the Harvest Meadow pack from the current Holiday Catalog. I used the Christmas Season Stamp Set and matching Seasonal Labels Dies. (pg. 18- Holiday Catalog) The Label Me Lovely Punch from the Annual Catalog was used to punch out the sentiment.

I mentioned the sentiment above for a reason......."So Grateful For Someone Like You In My Life". My older sister Debbie passed away in Phoenix on Dec. 1st. Just got home from a whirlwind trip out there and I miss her terribly already. Although, I'm very sad of course, I'm truly grateful for all the "growing up" years we had together. My sister Val and I found this lovely picture of Deb taken in her early 30's. She was 63 when she passed after battling a long illness, but I will always remember this younger & more beautiful version shown above (and yes, those curls are natural). REST IN PEACE DEBBIE. I LOVE YOU SIS!!

Sparkle Of The Season Bundle by StampinUP Featured Today in a Beautiful Card Swap

A fellow Stampin Stray Duckling from Peoria IL (Ronette K.) made this beauty for a demo swap a few months back. It's a perfect card to send a friend or family member this time of year.

On pg. 58 in the current Holiday Catalog, you will find Sparkle of the Season stamp set & Seasonal Swirls Dies. Along with these StampinUP products, Ronette used the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder on her card.

Cork Specialty Paper by StampinUP Showcased in 2 Cards Today.......

For this first card, I used just a small strip of the featured cork paper on the left-hand side. Other StampinUP products used include:

Accordian Fun Fold Featured Today with 2 Christmas Card Swaps!!

This lovely Stray Ducklings card swap was made by Laura R. of Morton IL.

She used the Painted Christmas Suite of products from the Holiday Catalog (pgs. 16-18)

As I mentioned, this is a fun fold project. You can see how both of the separate components fold when closing up the card for mailing.

And here is a birds eye view of how it will fold up also.

This is a list of dimensions for cutting & scoring.

Both of these card swaps use the same measurements.

And here is another beautiful creation (& swap) made by Sheryl D. of Morton IL

Today--Card Swaps from a couple Stampin' Stray Duckling Friends........

I belong to a group of Central IL Demonstrators, who call ourselves the Stampin' Stray Ducklings!! A few of us managed to get together a few months back for training & of course, we had a card swap : ) This beautiful Christmas card was made by Kelly I. of Peoria.

Fancy Fun Fold Christmas Card Featuring the GORGEOUS Peaceful Place Designer Paper

I had a class that was a Holiday Stamp-A-Stack and featured fun folds. This creation was a favorite of my guests!! Here is a list of StampinUP products used:

This is a view from the top of the card when standing upright. Hopefully, you can get the idea of the accordian fold inside the card.

The pc. of designer paper inside was cut 5 1/4 x 10 inches. Just score the paper several times beginning at 2 in., and then 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. This will leave 2 in. on the left and 2 in. on the right side.

Since the designer paper is a dark color, I showed the class attendees how to incorporate a snowflake in the card design that would show your signature on the right side!
